Winter Games: Round 1
Round 1 of winter games starts next week, and we're now playing Bunerong at their hall. They don't want to play next week as it's their business meeting, but the week after is our business meeting, as well as the day before Chris's ramblers. So are people happy playing on July 2nd, or do we need an alternate date?

The Fantastic Race
I have some more details about the fantastic race which is occurring on the 2nd and 3rd of August.
This is from an email I received from Michael Thomas, one of the leaders organising it:
"The pickup points will be the Ormond Hall of 6th Caulfield (think some Rovers are there as well) and the 1st McKinnon Scout hall. Luggage would be available from 10am onwards and it is to be taken to Melbourne High School. Pick up time would be around 9.30am on Sunday morning - Saturday will tell you if you have enough resource in the way of trailers etc to move it in one go. If not I will try and arrange a couple of parents to help out on Sunday morning. The luggage is to be dropped off back at the 1st McKinnon hall.
All Rovers are welcome to stay over on Saturday night if they like and if any want to the scouts are going to the St Kilda versus Port Adelaide match on the Sunday - happy to have you guys along for that as well."
They are expecting about 140 scouts.
Please tell me if you can help out on either the Sat or Sun or both. Michael has said that we should be able to borrow a couple of trailers from scout groups in the district (not sure what size), so even if you can come along with a car (or not) the would be great.

Business Meeting and Programming
As the title suggests, this week is a business meeting as we didn't have one last week, and we will also be programming the rest of the year, so bring along any and all ideas you may have.
