Hi Everyone!
Just a reminder about Ali's wood beads presentation. Those of us that have been given things to do will be meeting at Foch street at 730 to have a run through. If everyone can try to be there for 730 that would be awesome, but I need everyone there BEFORE 8pm so we can be organised when the other guests begin to arrive.
***FULL UNIFORM MUST BE WORN including Black/Navy/official uniform pants and black shoes***
If you do not have proper uniform, I may resort to using my angry face.
Remember, try to get there for 7:30, definitely by 8:00 and wear FULL uniform.
Cheers,
Noddy

Events-A-Plenty
Hi all, Lots of things to update you on:
1. We've all be invited to Ali's woodbeads presentation. This will be a good opportunity to show our support, catch up with some of our booted members who have moved on and show them what we've done since they left.
Date: 26/05/2010
Time: 8pm for an 8:15pm Ceremony
Location: Foch Street Scout Hall, Ormond (Where we've been meeting recently)
For those of you who have been asked to participate in the ceremony, please be a bit early and can everyone be in full uniform, including black/navy pants if at all possible.
2. There is a meet and greet for the new Melbourne region on the 22nd of May at 12:30pm at 1st VicSea Scouts Hall, Aquatic Drive, South Melbourne. Despite this being our buggy weekend at Guildford, I think it is important that we attend and get to know the other crews in our new region. The plan is that we will pack for Guildford, go to the meet and greet for a couple of hours, then continue on to Guildford and spend what time we can driving. Rob has agreed to tow the buggy trailer up so that we can all attend the meeting. Lunch will be provided, BYO drinks, please let me know if you will be going to Guildford, the meeting or neither by Sunday at the latest. I expect everyone going to Guildford to attend the meeting.
3. Mudbash. Its going to be awesome, but you will need to be organised. Start thinking about who will be able to tow the buggy and/or other crew gear to Mafeking and what you will need (eg. generator, fire extinguishers etc.) and where you can get it from.
4. Greg Davies has approached me and asked if we would like to do some service and also make some money. The Ormond Traders are looking to have some graffiti removed (painted over) and would like to pay us to do it, they will supply all the materials. There is about a half day's work and it has been suggested that we could also involve the Venturers. I think the Weekend of the 29th/30th of May would be a good opportunity to get it done and do some valuable PR at the same time.
That's all for now, please leave a comment letting me know what you think, or even just that you've read this because I need to know who knows what.
Cheers,
Noddy
